Our Story

When Joanne and Jamie Pantuso watched a dear friend struggle through the final stages of life in a cold, clinical assisted living facility, they knew something had to change. The lack of personal care and meaningful engagement left a lasting impression, and they vowed to do something about it…for their friend, for others in similar situations, and for families looking for a more dignified, compassionate alternative.
AmberCare was born out of this calling to provide a new kind of senior living, one that combines personalized, boutique-style care with a sense of joy, dignity, and community. Joanne and Jamie’s mission is simple:

After a successful 30-year career in the tech industry, including 16 years as an executive at Salesforce, Joanne turned her innovative spirit and leadership expertise to revolutionizing senior care. Her experience in cultivating strong company cultures and leading “future of work” initiatives now drives the “future of senior care” at AmberCare.
Jamie Pantuso
Design and Development Lead
Jamie brings his expertise in high-end construction and design to AmberCare. With a background in custom home and commercial projects, Jamie ensures that AmberCare properties meet the highest standards of quality, luxury, and functionality for seniors.
